2007: Oughton was recalled for the 2-2 draw against Wales in Wrexham after last playing for the All Whites at the ill-fated 2004 Oceania Nations Cup in Adelaide. Played the full 90 in central midfield against world No 75 Wales after overcoming a serious knee injury which curtailed his 2006 MLS season in the United States.
