2007: With the FIFA U-20 Men’s World Cup to look forward to in June-July, 2007 shapes as a defining year for the recently de-dreadlocked teenager. Used as a sub against both Costa Rica and Venezuela in March, Brockie remained on the bench in a 2-2 draw against Wales.

2006: A front-runner blessed with pace, Brockie burst onto the scene with a series of eye-catching A-League performances for the New Zealand Knights two seasons ago. That form earned the Cantabrian a contract at Sydney FC but Brockie spent much of the past A-League season on the bench and has since been released.
