2007: Christie has signed for the new Wellington Phoenix after coming on as a late substitute against Costa Rica in March and playing the first hour of New Zealand's 2-2 draw in Wales in May.

2006: A no-nonsense central midfielder, Christie played alongside All Whites team-mate Leo Bertos at Perth Glory last season. The former Barnsley FC ball-winner also played for the now defunct New Zealand Knights in the A-League and for the Auckland-based Football Kingz in the old NSL before that.
